Review: The Simpsons' Movie

Okay, so I just got back from building one of our two prints of The Simpsons' Movie, and then pre-screening it. There is really only one thing to say about this movie:

ABSO-POSI-DIDDLY-DOODLY-OODLY-SCHMOODLY-HILARIOUS.

Seriously, this is one of the best movie I have seen all damn summer, and should any other movies fail to wow me, will be THE best movie I've seen all summer, period. If you've been a fan of The Simpsons as long as I have, which would be since 1990, you simply have to see this movie. From the start of the film until the end, you will not go more than a few minutes without either chuckling or laughing hysterically. Yeah, it's THAT damn funny.

The gist of the movie is simple: Homer does something that screws over the entire town of Springfield, and in the end has to redeem himself to both the town and his family to save everyone. Honestly, that's all that can really be said without spoiling the funny parts, which as I said is the entire movie. Stick around through the credits as well. Why? Because I said so, that's why! Trust me, you won't regret it.

So yeah, that's my simple review of this fantastic movie. The theater I work at, the Marcus in Pickerington, is holding midnight showings tomorrow, so come one come all to the greatest movie this summer.
